Farewell to Nabil Maamarbashi & Christoph Pfeifer

As Mr. Nabil Maamarbashi, head of the boarding department, and Christoph Pfeifer, EMS volunteer, will not be with us next year; it was decided to hold a farewell party for them during the weekly gathering of staff on Thursday 12 June 2008 at 10.30 am. Rev. Haddad thanked both for their wonderful and dedicated work in the boarding department, and wished them the best in their careers. Mr. Maamarbashi will be ordained this summer and will be taking charge of one of the churches of the Union of Evangelical Churches in Lebanon. Christoph will be returning to Germany at the end of an academic year of volunteer work in JLSS.
Our kitchen staff prepared two huge cakes for the occasion.
Nabil was presented a metalwork mirror made in our industrial mechanics workshop, and Christoph was given a Schneller clock made in our carpentry workshop. Both presents were thank you gifts and souvenirs from JLSS.
