Jordies with Swiss Group in JLSS

Rev. Luzuis Jordi and Mrs. Renate Jordi along with a tour-group organized by our Swiss partners, the Schweizer Verein, visited our school from the 25th to the 27th of May 2010. The tour guide for the group was former JLSS student Bassam Salhab. The group stayed in our guesthouse in order to learn about our school and the work it is doing to needy children. They visited all our departments and went around our school interacting with our students, teachers, and members of staff. They had a meeting with the director to follow up on the work that is being done in JLSS especially the Swiss projects. They also met with the head of our boarding department and gave him gifts they brought from Switzerland for our children.
The group included many members of the Schweizer Verein and old friends who have been supporting our school for many years. It was very good for them to finally be able to visit the place they had previously heard a lot about. Some of the group members were new friends and were also eager to learn about our work. The Schweizer Verein is one of the main supporters of JLSS and Schneller schools right from the very beginnings. We express to them our sincere gratitude for their wonderful support. We especially thank Rev. and Mrs. Jordi, and all the members of the group, both Swiss and German, for their wonderful visit.
