Adha and Christmas Celebration

Our school celebrated Christmas and Blessed Adha on Monday 17 December 2007 by a service which was held in St. Michael's Church at 6.00 pm. Attending were all the students and staff of the boarding department and many teachers and employees of the school with their children. The service included bible readings, prayers, music, carols, and two short messages about the Blessed Adha Feast and Christmas. A special dinner followed and all the guests were distributed among the boarding homes. Later on, Santa Claus distributed present to all the children of our boarding department. The Christmas gifts were bought with a grant kindly sent to us by BibleLands. The distribution of the presents was the climax of the program and it brought great happiness to our children and students. We express our thanks to BibleLands for enabling us to buy a present for every student. We also thank Mr. Nabil Maamarbashi, Mr. Sleilati, and all the teachers and students who worked hard to prepare a very nice program. Blessed Adha, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
