Electric Vehicles Workshop Receives Training Equipment

With the inauguration of the new electricity workshops held on Friday 12 May 2023 the remaining urgent need was the training equipment for the electric vehicles workshop.
The concern of the director was that JLSS students in car mechanics be ready for the future. The training they are receiving for combustion engines will be obsolete in ten to fifteen years. How will they look back at their school if it did not adequately prepare them for the future?
Electric vehicles are without any doubt the future of cars. Our students needed to receive training now in this new technology. This is the only way to prepare them for a good future.
The Schneller School board of the National Evangelical Church in Beirut endorsed the vision of the director, Rev. George D. Haddad, to supplement the car mechanics program with training for electric vehicles. The board approved the purchase of the highly specialized Lucas Nülle E.V. training equipment. This was also possible through a kind grant from the Württemberg Church (Evangelische Landeskirche in Württemberg) EVS/EMS which was added to the budget allocated by the board for this project.
The equipment was delivered on Friday 26 April 2024.
Mr. Ronald Hummel, E.V. specialist trainer and consultant from Lucas Nülle arrived the same day in the evening. He unpacked the equipment and assembled it on Saturday 27 April 2024 assisted by JLSS staff.
The equipment was ready for training JLSS trainers the next Day. Electric Vehicles Training Equipment

The training was for six full days from Monday 29 April till May 4, 2024. It covered all the new equipment.
The system training for automotive engineering given included the following courses:

CarTrain "First Responder Trainer for Electric Vehicles"SO2805-1A”

JLSS trainers can now use the amazing Lucas Nülle courses to further their learning and skills and move this amazing technology to their students.
Furthermore, we intend to hold training sessions for interested members of the Red Cross, Civil Defense, and police in our region about safety of first responders dealing with electric vehicles involved in accidents.
We are most grateful to Mr. Ronald Hummel for accepting to travel to Lebanon at this critical time to install the equipment and train our trainers.
We highly appreciate his professionalism, perfection at work, and friendly character.
He was amazing in his training skills and was able to motivate our trainers to learn about this new technology in a most friendly yet disciplined manner.
We sincerely thank him for his great success with our trainers who at the end of the course received their certificates.
We also thank Mr. Sebastian Neumann and Lucas Nülle for their wonderful support in the order and delivery of this highly professional equipment.
Above all we praise God for the realization of this project.
We especially thank the Württemberg Church and EVS/EMS for their amazing support in helping us build the new workshops and equip the E.V. workshop with the necessary training equipment.
Our dear friends Inga and Wolfgang Saier are now helping us adapt our curriculum to incorporate E.V. training in it. We also thank them for their kind support.
JLSS trainers and students must now do the hard work needed to acquire the skills necessary for this new technology.
This project will also help us convince our girls of the importance of vocational training in the hope that some of them will join this new program.
Nothing can stop JLSS students now, both boys and girls, from having a wonderful future in car mechanics of today and tomorrow.
We thank all our partners who helped us realize this dream and adequately prepare our car mechanics students for a good future.
