GTZ Donates Laptop, LCD Projector, and Other Items to Vocational Department

 We received a very kind donation for our vocational department from GTZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit) Lebanon on Tuesday 15 June 2010. The donation consisted of an HP Compaq Laptop Mini CQ10, a ViewSonic SVGA DLP Projector, a ViewSonic Projector carrying case, an LG Portable Super Multi Drive GP08Lite, and a Professional Digital Clamp Meter. The laptop came preinstalled with Windows 7 and Microsoft Office 2007. Our vocational department was badly in need of all this equipment, and it was wonderful to receive it. Our trainers are delighted to finally have a laptop and an LCD projector for their department. We express our sincere gratitude to GTZ, Dr. Michael Guder, and Mr. Carlos Nafaa for all this equipment. We also thank them for their wonderful support of our school. Dr. Guder retired from his work with GTZ in June. We were very sad to lose his knowledge, expertise, friendship, and wonderful support. We wish him and his wife a happy retirement back in Germany, and we thank them for being such wonderful friends of our school.
