Alton Robert's Chemistry Awards 2007/2008

Ghiwa Shakrina and Hilal Abou Ali won the Roberts Chemistry Awards for the last academic year 2007/2008. These awards are in memory of the Rev. Dr. C. Alton Roberts who was a former teacher at JLSS and the late president of the Lutheran Board of Mission - USA. Both Ghiwa and Hilal, who had the highest grades in Chemistry in their class last year, received the awards and a cheque for fifty US Dollars each, during the morning chapel service on Thursday 19 February 2009. We congratulate them both and thank Rev. Schankweiler and the Lutheran Board of Mission - USA for their support of our school and encouragement of our students.
