Teachers' Day Celebration 2012
On the occasion of Teachers' Day, two programs were held to commemorate this special day
on Thursday 8 March 2012. The first was held at 10.30 AM for the Elementary
School,
and
the second was held at 1.00 PM for both the Vocational and Secondary
Schools. Both celebrations were held in Hermann Schneller Hall. The
director of the school, Rev. George D. Haddad, opened the program with
prayer. He then addressed teachers and students thanking them and
wishing them a vey happy Teachers' Day. The coordinator of the
Academic Department, Mrs. Rita Chakrina, also delivered a message on the
occasion. Students and children excelled in their performance of
music, dance, song, comic drama, and poetry. It was a very enjoyable
program, especially the Greek Folkdance at the end of the program. We
express our thanks to all the teachers and students who worked hard to
produce this very nice program. We especially thank
the coordinator of the Academic Department, Mrs. Rita Chakrina, and Mr. Michael Karam who beautifully decorated the stage for the occasion.
We also thank our music teacher, Mr. Joseph Sleilati, and the Academic
Supervisor, Mr. Elie Farhat, and every class teacher who participated in
the preparation of the program. Friday 9 March 2012 was a holiday.
We wish the whole Schneller family a very Happy
Teachers' Day.
