Tragic Death of Mrs. Rania
Hanna Phillip al-Khoury
It
is with great sorrow that we announce the tragic death of Mrs. Rania
al-Khoury who passed away on Thursday 6 June 2019.
She suffered an unexpected diabetic shock on Saturday June 1st when she
was rushed to hospital. She was admitted to intensive care where she was
until she passed away.
She was the educator (teacher in charge of boarding children) of Boys
Boarding Home 2. She was dedicated, loving, committed to her work,
patient, and kind. She worked quietly, and her typical smile never
left her face.
This tragic news is very difficult to believe. It came so suddenly
without warning. She was young, active, and very healthy. She never
complained from anything. Her main worry was caring for her mother whom
she regularly travelled to Beirut to look after.
She will be greatly missed by the boys of BBH2, the girls she looked
after for many years in the girls' boarding homes, her colleagues in the
boarding department, and the whole
community of Schneller School.
Jesus said: I am the resurrection and the life. She who believes in
me will live, even though she dies; and whoever lives and believes in me
will never die.
The Lord is risen! He is risen indeed!
